Commercial photography on location for Knightsbridge Furniture in London.
A commercial photography location shoot, where the transportation of large amounts of furniture, props and equipment, can be a logistical nightmare. This shoot involved three locations in central London over three days with three 7.5 tonne trucks of furniture for each location. Careful planning and very cooperative drivers brought it all together and created some great results.
One of the very rare occasions we move out of our commercial photography studio in Leeds and use an alternative studio, but when the numbers add up then it is the obvious thing to do… This advertising photography shoot for Knightsbridge Furniture was done on location at JJ Location’s studio in London. This was part of a three-day location trip to the capital to shoot furniture in a number of exciting locations ranging from a £2 million penthouse to what looked like Austin Power’s “shagadelic” cellar!
The results were really effective and the locations offered such variations in backdrops and architecture it would never have been achievable within budget at our commercial photographic studio in Leeds. A commercial photography location shoot can also open your mind to ideas that can then be implemented in studio room sets in future. Some of the other photographic location images on the same trip can be seen here.
